Not long ago, one of my favorite trendsetters, Gwen Stefani, got married in a jaw dropping ombré inspired wedding gown by Christian Dior. Ombré is one of the most beautiful color combinations used for weddings. Ombré {French} - Definition: Shaded or graduated in tone: said of a color. Colors for this style can be from radiant sunsets that inspire rich colors of purples and oranges. The inspiration for these colors from our ombré inspired wedding flowed around the soft colors of spring; for this shoot, I was drawn to light pinks and jewel toned purples.
Ambassador Mansion in Pasadena, is located along Millionaires Row. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful historic places to get married. With estates that sprawl over acres and secret gardens, this has become of my favorite places to visit. Mostly because I love history and Pasadena has plenty of old town charm. It is especially a perfect place to get married outdoors and celebrate the night away outside or inside the beautiful mansion. The property showcases so much lush landscaping, is a true gem and you won’t feel like you have to over decorate it for your wedding.
Gavin & Erin Wade always know how to capture the most beautiful pictures and their style is one of the best. When it came to bringing the details together, it was so much fun working with such a wonderful group of talented vendors. Creating a look around these colors and even just seeing the wedding cake designed by Catherine Joanne Cakes made my heart skip a beat. Invitation set by Wiley Valentine, I mean, who doesn’t love their work?! One word… Stunning!! The whimsical style of the flowers were designed by the ever so amazing, Enchanted Florist. Even with the linens, by Wildflower Linens, included the various shades, starting with the main shade on table and then adding a lighter and darker complimentary toned napkins. Rentals by Classic Party Rentals. A special thank you to our amazing team who made it all happen!
